Lake Malawi

Lake Malawi

Many say the most beautiful parts of Malawi’s ‘Lake of Stars’ are in the northern region. When at Sunbird Mzuzu, the Lake’s captivating white sand beaches and crystal clear waters are just 60 minutes away both at Chikale Beach within Nkhata Bay or the broad silver sand beaches of Chintheche, always a premier venue choice for Malawi’s famous international music festival. These beautiful beaches boast pristine, palmfringed sands, dotted by traditional fishing villages amid residual patches of tropical rain forest and the largest mango trees in the country.
